Liver Building

Diverse in its appeal, the waterfront offers a host of attractions from the world-class contemporary art at Tate Liverpool to the unparallel views across the waterfront through the Wheel of Liverpool.

The fabulous mercantile architecture of the imposing Liver Building, is one of Liverpool Waterfront’s key attraction and Liverpool’s most iconic structures. The two Liver Birds are 18ft high with a wing span of 12ft, making them the biggest Liver Bird relics in Liverpool.

A beacon of creativity, Tate Liverpool is one of four major galleries which together hold more than 70,000 artworks. Located in The Royal Albert Dock, Tate Liverpool is a fascinating attraction and just minutes’ walk from ACC Liverpool.

As well as a fantastic museum, the Merseyside Maritime Museum is a treasure house of architectural and mechanical invention. It charts the industrial history of Liverpool docks, its shipbuilding heritage and its trade around the world.

Merse Ferry

Liverpool’s world-famous ferry service is run by Mersey Ferries who take hundreds of thousands of people pit on the Mersey each year.
